AARA is dedicated to serving the Acadiana Region - Southwest Louisiana

 

Welcome to the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. (AARA) club site.

The club has general meetings on the first (1st) Thursday of every month, except for holidays.

Amateur Radio Examinations (VE Testing) is available before each general meeting beginning promptly at 6:00 pm for those persons interested in becoming new Amateur Radio Operators or for those interested in upgrading to a higher FCC License Class.

Check our calendar for any schedule Techincian License class dates.

Guest and new Amateur Radio Operators are always welcome at our general club meetings.

Instructions
1.
       Down load the satpc32 software at the above url
2.
       Locate the files above by going to your search page and replace them with the files above.
3.
       The file ele 10 04 09 files goes in the same directory as the amateur.tex directory
4.
       Open the satpc32 program and the coordinates to enter are LON -92 Lat 30
5.
